Screen Smart is launching our first episodes on Tuesday, March 27!
We’ll be dropping the first three episodes then, but there are many more coming. Here’s a preview of some of what we’re working on:
- An interview with Crispin Swan, a co-founder of Family Zone. They are an Australian-based company with a very cool Internet filtering and monitoring service. (You’ll learn more about that when we announce our giveaway!)
- An interview with Monica Swanson, the “Grommom,” about the challenges of raising four boys in the digital age. You’ll hear how her family manages stuff like cell phones and Instagram.
- An interview with Brooke Shannon, a founder of Wait Until 8th. Discover why she helped start a movement that encourages parents to band together at local schools and pledge to not give their kids a smart phone until at least 8th grade.
- An interview with Cam Adair, the founder of Game Quitters. You’ll hear his crazy story of how he went from dropping out of high school because of a gaming addiction to starting an organization that helps gaming addicts in dozens of countries.
There are many more episodes in the pipeline. Some will involve Jay and Alex discussing something specific – like an app or product. On others we will welcome in experts and influencers who can help us get our heads around different aspects of parenting in this digital age.
We want your input!
Join our conversation! We want the show to be helpful and meaningful to our listeners, so please let us know if there are people you want us to interview or topics you want us to discuss.
We’re excited to be on this journey with you. Stay tuned…
